I am writing this letter to commend Carol Wanamaker of your Randolph office for the terrific job that she did for us in selling our house in New Jersey.  Let me tell you the story.

 

  When we were getting ready to move in the dead of winter, word got out that we might be selling our house.  As luck would have it, a business associate of mine popped up and asked to buy our home.  We had been watching the local real estate market very carefully and thought we had a good handle on the comparables for our neighborhood.  We asked for, and got, what seemed to be a very aggressive price for the house.  That sale subsequently fell through because of a problem revealed in the home inspection.  We are grateful for that seemingly unhappy event, because it led us to Carol Wanamaker.

  •  Carol sold our house very quickly and painlessly for us.
  • She sold our house for much more than we ever thought we could get.  Even after netting the real estate sales commission, we still came out well ahead of where we had been trying to sell the house on our own.
  • She handled the inspection problem (a failed septic system) professionally and with full disclosure.  The problem that had caused our earlier sale to unravel never became an issue again because of the way that she handled it in communication with prospective buyers.
